The Day of Error 37

Diablo III hits stores and millions of players were plagued with the notorious “Error 37” that prevented many from logging in the game. Apparently, Blizzard wasn’t aware of the massive strain that would have been placed on their servers. I know first hand that you can’t test for all scenerios but this is becoming all too common with releases nowadays. Read Blizzard’s full apology here…

Oh and Max Payne 3 was also released. In case you’re not into PC games, it’s probably worth checking out.

Closing Time – The final DLC for Final Fantasy XIII-2 has been announced

On Wednesday May 16th, 2012, the last DLC for Final Fantasy XIII-2 will be available and will include two new episodes entitled: Snow’s Story: Perpetual Battlefield and “Lightning’s Story: Requiem of the Goddess”. In a nut shell, “Snow’s Story” has Snow “engaged in battles at the Coliseum after being separated from [Serah].” Playing through this episode unlocks Snow as a party member. Similiarly, playing through “Lightning’s Story” also unlocks a Final Fantasy XIII-2 version of Lightning to add to your party. However, since this episode touches upon the main story line, basically the battle between Lightning and Caius, you’re highly encouraged to play the game prior to playing through “Lightning’s Story”. For more details, check out this link.
