In A World Where A Blood Clot Really Really Sucks…

The man with the voice behind nearly every movie trailer and several commercials has died at the crisp age of 68. Don LaFontaine passed away Monday, September 1st at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center

He was admitted August 22nd because of a blood clot in his lungs. As result to a collapsed lung, he died of complications from Pneumothorax. If anybody out there has any idea what that is, feel free to clue me in.

Everybody has heard his voice on more than one occasion. Doing the voice overs for nearly 5,000 different projects your either deaf or just a useless member of society if you haven’t heard anything by him. Known by some as the ‘Master Of Voiceover’ it will be a great challenge for anybody to find a man to do what he has done, as well as he’s done it.

Other than commercially making millions doing voiceovers, he would also do free voiceovers for people who would simply ask him too. If you fish around You Tube long enough you’ll find some interesting videos on things he’s done outside of movies and commercials.

Here’s to you voice over guy!
